Description:
This webinar will define the terms and prevalence of different types of infertility and miscarriage. Research exploring common psychological problems observed in women and men in this population, especially those contributing to isolation, will be presented. Evidenced based psychotherapeutic interventions and considerations for mental health providers will be addressed. Finally, some of the pertinent teachings of the Catholic Church regarding infertility, miscarriage, and licit medical treatments will be discussed.
