This workshop will review literature on the emotional, physical, and social experiences of detransitioners, focusing on recent research on detransitioner experiences in healthcare and social communities. It will explore the findings of recent studies and their implications for licensed mental health counselors' practice and advocacy, highlighting unique ethical and cultural considerations for working with this population.
