Theology of the Body and Gender Identity

Description:
Based on John Paul II's theology of the body, and founded on perennial philosophy, and integrated psychology, this seminar will seek to illuminate the most vital questions that young people are asking themselves today: "What does it mean for me to be a man, to be a woman?" It will explore the question of sexual identity and the phenomenon of gender transitioning. The perspective will be one of empathy and compassion toward those suffering from gender dysphoria. At the same time, the fundamental truth of the human person, created male and female in the image of God, will be explored.
