While earning a Master of Science degree in Clinical Counseling from Divine Mercy University, I began training with the Center for Trauma and Resiliency Studies, focusing on integrating heart, mind, body, and soul for the treatment of developmental trauma. During summer, 2019, I was privileged to join a trauma team for immersion in Naivasha, Kenya. I witnessed incredible strength of character, resilience, courage, and inner wisdom in the people we worked with, even in the midst of ongoing life stressors and none of the safety nets that some of us in the USA take for granted. Thanks to the Kenya experience, I became excited about trauma therapy with a holistic, integrated approach.
Now in private practice, I am intentional about creating sessions which are imbued with safety, dignity, and my deep conviction of God's mercy. I am trained in EMDR, EFT (Sue Johnson model for marriage counseling) and Catholic internal "family" systems. I have a private practice in Kalispell, Montana where I am a long-time parishioner of St. Matthew's Parish.
