CPA fundraising initiative:

  • 5 key areas are supported by your donation:

  1. Expand our outreach and enable CPA's presence at conferences of key Catholic groups, raising awareness of CPA's Mission and the challenges facing Catholic mental health professionals practicing in a secular-dominated culture.
  2. Expand support and funding of seminarians, religious, clergy, and students by providing discounted membership/resource fees and scholarships to attend annual CPA conferences and events.
  3. Launch & maintain Integratus- the official journal of the Catholic Psychotherapy Association integrating faith and mental health.
  4. Continue development, expansion and engagement of Special Interest Groups, Local Regional Networks, and Chapters, making community & Continuing Education more locally accessible to Catholic mental health professionals.
  5. Provide funds to rapidly expand CPA Continuing Education Library and support staff who carry out the administration and management of CPA membership, continuing education & outreach.

Guidelines Booklet Donation


Guidelines for Mental Health Professionals Supporting Persons Seeking Freedom from Possession and Other Spiritual Afflictions (2nd Edition)

  1. Enter a donation amount of your choosing. The minimum suggested donation to defray the cost of printing and mailing is $25 USD per booklet. 
  2. In the Comment field, please enter the following: 
  • Name of the individual or group making the request.
  • Preferred mailing address.
  • The number of copies requested. 
  • If the individual/group is not a member of CPA, please describe how you heard about these Guidelines, and your intentions regarding use or distribution of the booklet(s) requested.

Support Our Mission


Directly support the activities of our Committees as they put the CPA Mission into action.

Tell us your favorite CPA committee or initiative: 

  • Education - The Education committee ensures that educational programs and initiatives such as webinars, conferences, and programs incorporate psychological theory, mental health practice, and the full understanding of the human person, family, and society in fidelity to the Magisterium of the Catholic Church.
  • Webinar - The Webinar committee oversees the process related to selection of topics/speakers for webinars as well as the creation and facilitation of webinars made available on the CPA website.
  • Conference - The Conference committee plans and executes the annual CPA conference in conjunction with the Education committee to identify exceptional speakers and presentations to maximize formative material and CE offerings.
  • Journal - The Journal committee collaborates with the publisher, editors, and editorial board in planning, decision-making, and implementation towards the publishing of Integratus, the CPA's peer-reviewed, professional journal.
  • Membership - The Membership committee ensures the benefits provided help members grow and thrive and oversees membership growth initiatives.
  • Region Reps - Region Representatives strengthen and expand the CPA in their geographic region and spread information about the CPA and its mission.
  • Ethics - the Ethics committee maintains the CPA's Code of Ethics and applies the values and principles for the professional conduct of members through case review and education.
