I am a graduate of Divine Mercy University's School of Counseling. I obtained a master's degree in mental health counseling and am currently working on my supervision hours in Opelousas, Louisiana at Blumrich Counseling. This is a private practice where I see clients of all ages and socioeconomic backgrounds.
My training at DMU has taught me to view every individual as possessing an intrinsic dignity and value. I have been trained to approach clients with a recognition of the whole person as uniquely integrated body, mind, and soul. Therapy, then, is a collaborative process. Clients are free to make decisions for themselves on the path to flourishing. I work to build a strong therapeutic alliance with each of my clients which facilitates their healing and centers on respect for their identity as human persons created by and for Love.
I have also received training as a spiritual guide through Regnum Christi. I accompany ladies on their spiritual journeys and assist them in developing a deep prayer life in order to listen and discern God's will in their lives.
