Shannon Mullen, Ph.D., CSAT-S, is a Certified Sexual Addiction Therapist and Supervisor by the International Institute for Trauma and Addiction Professionals. She has more than 20 years of experience in assessment and treatment and is considered an expert in sexual behavior and trauma recovery. Dr. Mullen is EMDR trained and an IFS therapist (level II). She regularly teaches and supervises other professionals in this work. Additionally, Dr. Mullen is a regular consultant for religious organizations and houses of formation within the Catholic Church in the assessment and treatment of addiction and trauma-related disorders. Dr. Mullen is the former Chair of the CPA Ethics Committee and lead author of the CPA Ethics Code (2023). She currently serves as the President of the Board of Directors of the Catholic Psychotherapy Association.
Mandy B. Mullen is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Georgia, Florida, and Alabama. Ms. Mullen received a B.S. in Human Services and has a Master of Social Work from Florida Gulf Coast University in Fort Myers, Florida. Her current professional specialties are betrayal trauma, play therapy, trauma counseling, child and adolescent behavioral problems, marital therapy, and relationship counseling. Ms. Mullen is a Certified Partner Trauma Therapist (CPTT) working with the partners of sex addicts and their experience of betrayal trauma. She is also certified in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), EMDR, and Internal Family Systems treatment level one. Ms. Mullen is the System of Care Director and ensures the best patient experience for receiving services at Mosaic.
