Christian Amalu, Psy.D.
Christian Amalu attended The Institute for the Psychological Sciences at Divine Mercy University and obtained his Doctor of Psychology (Psy.D.) in Clinical Psychology. He completed his pre-doctoral internship at the Baylor University Counseling Center and is currently a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Immaculate Heart of Mary Counseling Center in Lincoln, Nebraska. Dr. Amalu adheres to an Integrationist theoretical orientation, drawing primarily from Internal Family Systems, Interpersonal Process, and Psychodynamic/Attachment approaches. His dissertation offers an anthropological reconciliation between IFS and the Catholic tradition. Dr. Amalu also holds a master’s degree in psychology from Divine Mercy University and a bachelor’s degree in Physiology from California State University, East Bay.
