Father Walter Schu, LC is an assistant professor at Divine Mercy University in Sterling, Virginia. He currently serves as chaplain of the Catholic Psychotherapy Association and as a member of the doctrinal committee for the Catholic Medical Association boot camp. 
Father Schu obtained his doctorate in moral theology summa cum laude from Regina Apostolorum Athenaeum in Rome. His doctoral thesis, directed by Michael Waldstein, was “John Paul II’s Personalism as the Foundation for his Theology of the Body.” 
Father Schu is the author of The Splendor of Love: John Paul II’s Vision for Marriage and Family, which has been translated into Spanish.
