Dr. Margaret Laracy, PsyD


Margaret Laracy, Psy.D., is a clinical psychologist and psychoanalyst in private practice in Maryland. Her prior clinical experience includes work in community-based, hospital, and group practice settings. She completed her PsyD at the Institute for the Psychological Sciences and she has taught at the Institute for the Psychological Sciences and Mount St. Mary’s Seminary. Dr. Laracy is currently an adjunct faculty member at the Pontifical John Paul II Institute for Studies on Marriage and Family. She has lectured and presented to professional and lay audiences on topics such as: attachment theory, religious and spiritual issues in psychotherapy, beauty and psychological healing, and gender differences in communication.
