While sharing professional and personal experience, Scott Weeman offers key spiritual and clinical insights rooted in the sacraments, Scripture, and recovery wisdom including the Catholic influence on the development of Alcoholics Anonymous and other 12-step groups.

Scott Weeman is a Marriage and Family Therapist and the founder of Catholic in Recovery, a community of individuals and families seeking freedom from addictions, compulsions, and unhealthy attachments. He is the author of The Twelve Steps and the Sacraments and The Catholic in Recovery Workbook, and he can be heard on the Hallow App. Scott is a recurring guest on Catholic Answers Live where he discusses the intersection of addiction, mental health, and Catholic faith. Scott lives in Nashville with his wife and three children where he practices clinical therapy at Fiat Integrative Health. He received his Master of Arts in Clinical Counseling from Point Loma Nazarene University.
